What is a file with a DOCX extension?
DOCX
is a text
file format for Word that was introduced to the market
with the version of Microsoft Office released in 2007, replacing the

DOCX file extension is the usual Word document, but when stored in another
format, it allows certain features and advantages that the
DOC format did not offer. This is because the DOCX format is based in part
on the specifications dictated by Microsoft's Open Office XML standard.

long later, they realized that the new DOCX file format offered a few
